Although Nancy Street is in a relatively quiet suburb in south east Melbourne (see Geography), a surprising variety of birds have been spotted in and around the garden. In this page you will find introduced"pest" birds, familar and famous Australian birds, and some native birds that most Australians may not recognise.

We are attempting to include a photo of every living thing found in Nancy Street. We currently have possums, spiders, insects and worms, but the list should grow rapidly now that have a digital camera.
