This is Greg Keogh's personal web site in the orthogonal.com.au domain. This is not a commercial web site, it is a hobby site created by a software developer to entertain himself, friends and colleagues and anyone who might stumble upon the site and find something interesting.

The site was first published in September 2001. In January 2011, large parts of the site related to social events, background information, statistics, pets and wildlife were removed due to lack of site maintenance hobby time and possible privacy issues.

The main software products used in the Nancy street office are Windows 2008 Server R2, Windows 2003 Server, Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Vista, Office 2007, Office 2010, Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, Mercury Mail Server, Macromedia Dreamweaver MX, Image Composer, Mathematica 7, CoolEdit Pro 2.1, Audacity, Visual SVN, SQL Server 2008 R2, SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5 and 4.0, SQLite 10.66, Fiddler, Celestia, Expression Suite (but I hate it), Microsoft Security Essentials, ImgBurn, Sibelius 7 and various software development tools and kits.

Here are some items I significantly refuse to install or use:

• Adobe anything (everying from them clogs your machine)
• AVG Anti-Virus (it's now worse than useless)
• Nero (the most gigantic diseased piece of intrusive bloatware ever made)
