The 1996 VW "bug" served Greg from 1975 to 1997. After sitting idle in the driveway for a few months the starter motor
failed, it filled with cobwebs, the rust in the floor plate was growing, and so was grass under the pedals. It was too expensive
to consider repairing the bug, so it was given to Mr Bug in Braeside and its exact fate remains unknown. The pictures show
the bug being towed away for the last time. In any case, once you've driven a "real" car for a few months with air-conditioning,
radio, CD player and sound insulation, it's pretty hard to go back to a bare VW.
