Other Miscellaneous Photos
The 3 photos of the comet and the overexposed Moon were taken in Jan-2007,
two days after I purchased the Canon EOS 400D digital camera. I had no idea
how to take astronomical photos and I didn't have a tripod, so the camera was
placed on a cloth napkin on top of the airconditioning unit on the roof and
I gingerly pressed the button on full automatic settings. The camera was smart
enough to chose a 20 second exposure, but you can see how the camera moved in
that time and blurred the images. Now I have to learn how to leave the dummy
camera settings behind and take advanced photos - Greg (Apr-2007)
