The following photos of the fabulous eclectic electric string quartet Fourplay were taken with our new Canon EOS 400D digital camera at the 2007 St Kilda Festival. See http://www.fourplay.com.au. This is the first time I ever tried to take "serious" photos with the new camera, and the results are mixed and it was quite a brain-strain. Because I'm a novice, I played it safe and used the "dummy settings" built into the camera, only adjusting the zoom and swapping between the two lenses. I was amazed at the close-up power of the large lens, which at full zoom could almost see up the performer's noses! Unfortunately, 4 of the photos suffer from the embarrassingly amateurish defect of sun glare.

If you get a chance to see Fourplay, dont' miss it, you will be astonished.
