A new router and cabling for the Nancy Street Network causes some headaches
The upgrade saga continues ... After about 20 man hours of suffering and experimentation the Nancy Street network has been upgraded to use an Infosmart AFN4000 router. The old black coax cable has been replaced with CAT-5 and the server now has a single network card. The Alcatel ADSL modem is in the router WAN port and all PCs at Nancy Street now hang off the router LAN ports. The following issues remain outstanding for some time:
